The short version
picpad has no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. It never asks for, sees or stores your recovery phrase or private keys.
Your camera
The camera turns on only when you tap “Open camera”. The photo stays in your browser until you press Launch. If you don't launch, nothing is sent anywhere.
What becomes public when you launch
When you launch, picpad stores the photo, the name, the ticker and the description so pump.fun can show them on the coin's page. These are public and permanent: they're tied to a coin on the Solana blockchain, which anyone can read. Your wallet address is public on Solana as the coin's creator.
What stays on your device
Your browser remembers the coins you launched on picpad so you can get back to them after a refresh. That list stays in your browser and is never sent to picpad.
Services picpad uses
- Vercel hosts the site and stores launched photos. Like any web host, it keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses.
- Solana: picpad passes your transactions and balance checks through its own server to a public Solana node.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts.
- Your wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) shows and signs every transaction. picpad only sees your public address.
Changes
If picpad starts storing anything new, this page changes first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
